Is American Research Pens legit?

The claims this storefront makes

Most supplier websites get around to their testing program eventually. American Research Pens leads with it. The homepage promises “99%+ Purity Guaranteed per batch” and a certificate of analysis for every batch, and the site spells out a four-part test panel, HPLC-UV for purity, LAL for endotoxin, GC-MS for residual solvents and ICP-MS for heavy metals, in more detail than many established suppliers manage. The company sells ten dual-chamber pen listings for laboratory use, including items it names BPC-157 10 mg, GHK-Cu 100 mg and MOTS-C 10 mg, and coded listings it calls GLP2-T 10 mg and GLP3-R in 10 mg and 20 mg sizes, which we quote exactly as the supplier writes them. Prices put it at the premium end of the market, and it ships from the United States, though it does not say from where. The one thing a buyer should know is that when we checked, the certificate library was empty.

The operational promises are equally specific. Orders paid before 4:00 PM Pacific ship the same business day. No GMP, ISO or other company certification is claimed, which is an honest omission and one we noted in the company’s favor.

We read the homepage, the lab-reports page, the about page and the shipping, payment and refund policies in full, fetched the Trustpilot URL, and searched for any FDA correspondence. We also compared the catalog and prices against the other pen vendor in our file, because the record notes that the product lineup and the coded names are the same.

What held up when we checked

The business policies are among the most complete we have read. A dedicated payment and billing page lists cards, wire and ACH with a discount for using them, e-check, and cryptocurrency in BTC, ETH and USDT. The refund policy is specific about what it does and does not cover: refund or replacement if a pen arrives damaged, if the wrong item ships or if the order never arrives, with photos possibly requested; no refund for a change of mind on an opened pen; a three-hour window after ordering to correct a customer’s own error; and cryptocurrency orders refunded as store credit only. We have read far vaguer policies from companies that have been trading for years.

Shipping is laid out with the same precision. Ground service takes three to seven business days, two-day and next-day express are offered, shipping is free from $250, and the same-day cutoff is 4:00 PM Pacific. A phone number, +1 (888) 712-4689, an email address and support hours are posted, and a research-use-only disclaimer is present. Prices are transparent, even if they are high: the BPC-157 10 mg pen is $249.99, the BPC-157 and TB-500 pen is $279.99, the GHK-Cu 100 mg pen is $189.99, the GLP3-R 10 mg pen is $299.99 and the MOTS-C 10 mg pen is $289.99. A buy-one-get-one promotion was running when we fetched the site.

What did not, and what we could not verify

The central claim fails on timing, and the failure is the company’s own page telling us so. The homepage says every batch ships with a certificate. The lab-reports page at americanresearchpens.com/coa/, when we opened it on October 19, 2026, listed every lot as “Not yet assigned” with “Certificate pending first lot.” The same page says the laboratory will be named “once the first lot is released.” Put those three facts together and the testing program exists as a description, the laboratory exists as a future announcement, and the certificate exists as a placeholder. A purity guarantee without a single published result is a marketing statement, however carefully the test methods have been written up.

That matters more here than it would at a cheaper supplier, because the record notes that the catalog and the coded product names mirror another pen vendor’s lineup at roughly twice the price. The BPC-157 10 mg pen is $249.99 here against $129.99 at the comparable vendor. A premium price is defensible when it buys documentation the cheaper vendor lacks. At the time of our check it bought a promise.

The company itself is largely invisible. No street address, legal entity name or founding date is published anywhere on the site, and the headquarters city is unknown. The Trustpilot URL returns a 404, meaning no profile exists rather than one having been removed. Whether the catalog includes GLP-class products is recorded as unknown, and we quote the coded names rather than guess. Whether certificates will be issued per lot, and which laboratory will sign them, cannot be assessed until the first report appears. Cryptocurrency payments are final and non-reversible, which, combined with the absence of a company identity, places all of the risk on the buyer. No FDA warning letter naming American Research Pens appears in our record, and no independent aggregator has tested this supplier’s products; the public footprint, as far as we can find, consists of the website itself.

Our read

American Research Pens has written its quality program before producing any evidence for it. We give the company credit for clear payment, shipping and refund terms, for a phone line with stated hours, and for not claiming certifications it does not hold. But the two questions a laboratory purchaser should ask first, who tested this material and where is the report, both come back empty, and the company has not said who it is or where it operates.

Our advice is practical. Open the lab-reports page before you order. If lots have been assigned, certificates have been posted and a laboratory has been named, the record changes and this review will change with it. If the page still reads “pending,” you are being asked to pay roughly double the going rate for pens on the strength of a well-written description, and we would not do that. Buyers who do proceed should use a card rather than cryptocurrency so that at least one layer of dispute protection exists.

Certificates we opened for this storefront

We opened no certificate for this storefront. The catalog was read on 2026-10-19; no document we could open as a stranger was linked from it, though the storefront keeps a certificate page at americanresearchpens.com.

Catalog read

What the storefront listed

We read 16 listings on 2026-10-19. None of them carries a certificate link or image on the product page. No single-vial BPC-157 5 mg listing was in the catalog we read, so no reference price is recorded.

Findings in brief

What checks out, and what does not

Checks out

A dedicated payment and billing page lists cards, wire and ACH with a discount, e-check, and cryptocurrency in BTC, ETH and USDT.

The site names a four-part test panel of HPLC-UV, LAL endotoxin, GC-MS residual solvents and ICP-MS heavy metals as its planned program.

A phone number, an email address and support hours are published, along with a research-use-only disclaimer.

The refund policy is specific, covering damaged pens, wrong items and non-delivery with refund or replacement.

Does not

On October 19, 2026 the lab-reports page listed every lot as 'Not yet assigned' or 'Certificate pending first lot' while the homepage promised a COA for every batch.

No testing laboratory is named; the site says the lab will be identified once the first lot is released.

No street address, company name or founding information is published, and no Trustpilot profile exists.

Prices run roughly double those of a comparable pen vendor, with the BPC-157 10 mg pen at $249.99 against $129.99 elsewhere.

Cryptocurrency payments are final and non-reversible, which leaves a buyer without dispute protection at an unidentified company.

Reader questions

Answered from the file
Is American Research Pens legit?

The company publishes clear payment, shipping and refund policies and a phone line, but at our check it had published no certificate of analysis, named no laboratory and given no street address. The record is incomplete rather than negative. The gaps, though, are exactly the ones that matter most to a laboratory buyer.

Does American Research Pens publish COAs?

Not as of October 19, 2026. The lab-reports page at americanresearchpens.com/coa/ listed every lot as not yet assigned with certificates pending the first lot, even though the homepage promises a COA for every batch. Check that page again before ordering; if reports have appeared, the picture changes.

Where is American Research Pens located?

The supplier does not publish a street address, a company name or founding information. It states that it ships from the United States and gives a phone number, +1 (888) 712-4689, an email address and support hours.

What does American Research Pens charge for a BPC-157 pen?

The BPC-157 10 mg pen is $249.99 and the BPC-157 plus TB-500 10 mg pen is $279.99. Free shipping starts at $250, and a buy-one-get-one promotion was running when we checked. Our record notes these prices are about twice those of a comparable pen vendor.
