Is Swiss Chems legit?

swisschems.is · New York, NY · status at check: On watchlist

The name says Switzerland. The only address in the public record says 42 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10004, and it appears not on the company’s website but on a warning letter from the US Food and Drug Administration. That contrast is the right place to start with Swiss Chems, also styled SwissChems, because it captures the pattern we found across the whole record: documents that are better than the market average, sitting beside business conduct that a careful buyer would want explained.

Swiss Chems is a capsule-heavy research-chemical store that sells SARMs, nootropics and bioregulators alongside peptides in vials, bulk quantities and blends. For this report we read the homepage, two BPC-157 product pages, the Independent Test Results page, the FAQ and the how-to-pay page, then went to fda.gov, Trustpilot and a third-party vendor wiki for the public record. We tested each marketing statement against the company’s own documents and against those outside sources.

The claims this storefront makes

The headline claim is that products are “tested by independent, ISO-accredited laboratories”, principally Janoshik Analytical, with reports issued for each lot. The company pairs that with a purity guarantee which goes further than most: if independent HPLC testing at a licensed facility is inconsistent with the stated purity, Swiss Chems says it will refund the cost of the test and the full order amount including shipping. The commercial promises are specific as well. US orders paid before 12 PM Eastern on a business day ship the same day and otherwise the next business day, shipping is free over $100 within the United States and over $300 internationally, and payment is accepted by card, crypto, Zelle and ACH.

Two prices were visible during our check. Sixty BPC-157 capsules at 0.5 mg each, 30 mg in total, are listed at $85.95. A BPC-157 with Arginine Salt vial listing shows a homepage range of $39.99 to $599.50 across 5 mg and 10 mg vials in single units and packs of ten, but the product page itself showed no price and the item was out of stock, so we could not record a clean 5 mg benchmark.

What held up when we checked

The laboratory program is substantial and most of it is verifiable from the site. The Independent Test Results page lists 126 reports, each with a View Report link, and nothing on the page suggests a login is required. The FAQ names Janoshik Analytical as the principal lab and states that the reports are lot-specific. Product pages link batch-specific HPLC reports along with GC-MS or LC-MS screening for contamination and heavy metals, so both HPLC and mass spectrometry are documented. For a buyer whose question is “does the certificate match the lot in my hand”, this is the kind of program that can answer it.

The commercial terms also check out as stated. FedEx and USPS are named as carriers, the same-day cutoff is given in Eastern time, both free-shipping thresholds are published, international shipping is offered and four payment routes are listed. A research-use-only disclaimer is present. The purity guarantee is the most concrete we have seen in this market because it funds the buyer’s own test rather than asking the buyer to take the company’s word.

What did not, and what we could not verify

The company’s presentation of itself does not hold up. The site shows no address anywhere we could find, and the contact page returned HTTP 403 to our fetcher. The address we have comes from the FDA letter, and Peptide Protocol Wiki, a third-party source, also places the company in New York with a founding year of 2018. A brand named for one country and operating from another, without saying so, is a transparency failure regardless of the legal structure behind it. The FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research issued a warning letter dated December 10, 2024 to SwissChems after reviewing swisschems.is in October 2024, concerning GLP-class products offered as unapproved new drugs. The letter is published at https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/swisschems-695663-12102024 and appears on the FDA’s list of 2024 health-fraud warning letters. Whether the products named in the letter are still listed is something the record does not resolve, and we saw no public response from the company.

The return policy reads as a deterrent rather than a service. Returns are accepted only for unopened, resealable SARMs, PCT products and MEPs within 7 business days of confirmed delivery. The customer pays return shipping, a 15 percent restocking fee is deducted per product and a $25 processing fee per transaction, and original shipping is not refunded. Peptides are not on the returnable list at all. The FAQ adds two details a buyer should weigh: card charges appear under the descriptor “OPTIMUS DATA”, which hides the merchant on a bank statement, and a chargeback places the buyer on a “no-sell list”.

Several items stay open. The “ISO-accredited laboratories” claim rests on the FAQ, because the results page does not name the lab in its own text. Endotoxin and sterility testing are not documented. The product count is not published, and whether GLP-class products remain in the catalog could not be determined. The Trustpilot profile for swisschems.io shows that it has been removed for going against Trustpilot’s guidelines, and no profile exists for swisschems.is. Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator, has no entries for this supplier in our record, so there is no outside check on the published purities.

Our read

On paper, Swiss Chems is credible: a named lab, 126 lot-specific reports, contamination and heavy-metal screening and a guarantee that pays for the buyer’s own test. In conduct, it is evasive: a New York address it does not publish behind a Swiss name, a card descriptor that conceals the merchant, a blacklist for chargebacks, return fees that would erase a small refund, and an FDA warning letter with no visible answer. A researcher who needs a lot-matched certificate for a vial of BPC-157 can get one here and verify it. A researcher who needs to know who they are dealing with, or who wants the option of returning an order, will find the first on fda.gov and will not find the second at all.

Findings in brief

What checks out, and what does not

Checks out

A public 'Independent Test Results' page lists 126 reports with View Report links, and nothing on the page indicates that a login is needed to open them.

The FAQ names Janoshik Analytical as the principal third-party laboratory and states that the reports are specific to each lot.

Product pages link batch-specific HPLC reports together with GC-MS or LC-MS screening for contamination and heavy metals.

The purity guarantee is unusually concrete: if an independent HPLC test at a licensed facility contradicts the stated purity, the company says it refunds the cost of that test and the full order including shipping.

Does not

The FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research issued a warning letter dated December 10, 2024 concerning GLP-class products offered on swisschems.is as unapproved new drugs.

The site shows no company address; the only address in the record is 42 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10004, taken from the FDA letter, which sits oddly behind a brand named for Switzerland.

Returns are limited to unopened SARMs, PCT products and MEPs within 7 business days, with a 15 percent restocking fee per product and a $25 processing fee per transaction deducted; peptides are not on the returnable list.

The FAQ states that card charges appear under the descriptor 'OPTIMUS DATA' and that a chargeback places the buyer on a 'no-sell list'.

The Trustpilot profile for swisschems.io has been removed by Trustpilot, no profile exists for swisschems.is, and the contact page returned HTTP 403 during our check.

Reader questions

Answered from the file
Is Swiss Chems legit?

On documents it is better than most: 126 lot-specific lab reports, a named laboratory in Janoshik Analytical, contamination screening and a purity guarantee that pays for the buyer's own test. On conduct it is harder to defend. The company received an FDA warning letter dated December 10, 2024 concerning GLP-class products, does not show its New York address, and applies a 15 percent restocking fee plus $25 to the few returns it allows.

Did Swiss Chems get an FDA warning letter?

Yes. The FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research issued warning letter 695663, dated December 10, 2024, to SwissChems after reviewing swisschems.is in October 2024. The letter concerns GLP-class products offered as unapproved new drugs and gives a New York, New York address for the company. It is published at fda.gov.

Where is Swiss Chems located?

Not in Switzerland, as far as the record shows. The FDA letter addresses the company at 42 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10004, and Peptide Protocol Wiki also places it in New York with a 2018 founding. The site itself publishes no address; its shipping cutoffs are stated in Eastern time and its carriers are FedEx and USPS.

Is Swiss Chems third-party tested?

Yes, and the documents are public. The Independent Test Results page lists 126 reports, the FAQ names Janoshik Analytical as the principal lab and says the reports are lot-specific, and product pages link batch HPLC reports plus GC-MS or LC-MS contamination and heavy-metal screening. One caution: the results page itself does not name the lab in its text, so the 'ISO-accredited laboratories' line rests on the FAQ.
